White Elephant Auction - Sunday February 24, 2019
On February 24th, a couple of days after the full day of snow on Friday, the sun came out to warm the desert floor. We gathered to enjoy fellowship
and great food which fourty-eight members brought to the outing. After a relaxing time sharing stories we began the White Elephant Auction.
Ten Model A’s, One early V8 and a few somewhat modern cars were driven to the event. The auction was preceded by a Brauts & chicken entrée
rounded-up by Fritz & Co. with an assist to Joe & Kelly Findysz. Thanks to all club members for bringing a variety of salads, vegetables and desserts to complement the meal.
Thanks to Shorty Allison, auctioneer, and to Ray Feierstein and Rey Brown for conducting a profitable auction.
Thanks also to Jim Beebe and Diana Carlson for collecting the auction’s proceeds. Thanks to Jim And Sally Beebe for helping setup.
